Mechanical Combination Entry Without Batteries
The Simplex L1000 operates mechanically, allowing authorized employees to enter using a button combination. It does not require batteries, electrical wiring, or a Wi-Fi connection to operate.
This system uses a single shared access combination rather than individual electronic user codes. For the facility, it offered a practical way to reduce everyday reliance on physical keys while keeping entry straightforward for authorized workers.
The hardware selected for this job also included a key override, providing an additional entry option. Its metal pushbuttons and heavy-duty housing suited the customer’s request for durable commercial hardware.
Our technician fitted the lock to the factory door and aligned the lever and locking mechanism. We checked that the handle operated correctly and tested the completed installation to confirm smooth access.
Proper fitting matters alongside hardware selection. The lock needs to engage correctly with the frame and release consistently when operated, particularly at an entrance used repeatedly throughout the workday.
The completed installation gave management a mechanical combination-entry system for the factory door, reducing the need to issue a physical key to every employee who required routine access.
