Opening the Door While Preserving the Existing Hardware
Our technician inspected the front door and its locking hardware to determine an appropriate entry method. For this lockout, we used professional lock-picking tools to restore access without drilling or replacing the lock.
Once the door was open, the homeowner could retrieve her keys and phone. The existing lock, handle, and door frame remained undamaged.
Before leaving, we checked that the lock operated smoothly and discussed keeping a spare key in a secure location accessible to an authorized person. The homeowner could continue using her existing hardware and keys.
