Cutting and Programming Two Replacement Remote Keys
After verifying ownership, we obtained the correct key-cutting information for the customer’s Cruze. We then used a computerized cutting machine to prepare two flip-style remote keys.
The metal blades needed to operate the vehicle’s locks and ignition, while the transponder chips required programming before the keys could start the engine. Our technician registered both keys with the vehicle’s immobilizer system using professional automotive programming equipment.
We tested each key individually, checking ignition operation, engine starting, door locks, trunk release, and remote functions. Both keys were working when the service was completed.
