Fitting Compatible Replacement Lock Components
Our technician inspected the existing Pella hardware and selected compatible replacement components for the door system. The work focused on the locking hardware, allowing the homeowner to retain the doors.
French door locking systems require attention to how the handles, key cylinder, and locking components work together. We carefully removed the existing hardware, fitted the replacement components, and checked their positioning and alignment.
After installation, we tested handle movement, key operation, and the door’s locking function. These checks confirmed that the replacement hardware operated smoothly with the existing doors.
The completed repair restored the locking function without requiring replacement of the entire French door assembly.
