Our technician examined the commercial entrance, which had an exterior rim cylinder connected to an interior panic bar exit device.
The rim cylinder allows keyed access from outside. Its connecting tailpiece operates the exit device’s locking mechanism, while the interior panic bar provides a way to release the door from inside without a key.
We assessed the installed hardware and used professional locksmith tools to gain authorized entry while preserving the existing door hardware.
