Matching Satin Nickel Hardware with One-Key Access
Our technician removed the existing hardware and inspected the door openings before installing a keyed deadbolt and matching lever lock in a satin nickel finish.
We adjusted the latch and strike plates so both locking mechanisms aligned correctly with the frame. Proper alignment allowed the door to close and the locks to engage smoothly.
The family also wanted to operate both locks with one key. We rekeyed the cylinders to the same key combination, giving them convenient access without carrying a separate key for each lock.
After installation, we tested the new key in both cylinders and checked the locking operation with the door closed. The previous keys no longer operated the replaced front door locks.
The completed work gave the family control over who received keys to their entrance, along with coordinated hardware and simpler everyday access.
