Making Two Replacement Keys Without the Original
Our technician worked with the vehicle’s lock system to determine the correct key cuts. Using our Xhorse CONDOR computerized key-cutting machine, we prepared two replacement blades to match the Honda’s locks.
Once the blades were cut, we connected our AUTEL key programmer through the vehicle’s diagnostic port to complete the electronic programming. Because the customer had no remaining key, the job required an all-keys-lost programming procedure.
We registered both replacement keys with the immobilizer system and completed the key data synchronization. The AUTEL programmer displayed successful results for both programming and synchronization, with a registered key count of two.
The customer received two newly programmed keys and could use his vehicle again. Having a spare also meant he no longer had to depend on a single key for everyday access.
