Installing the Schlage Keypad Deadbolt and Matching Doorknob
We removed the existing hardware and inspected the door’s mounting holes, backset, and alignment with the strike plate. These checks helped us confirm that the replacement hardware would fit and that the deadbolt could engage without forcing the door.
Our technician installed the Schlage keypad deadbolt, secured the interior assembly, and fitted the matching black doorknob below it. We checked both mechanisms for smooth operation before setting up the electronic entry code.
